If you ever find yourself locked out of your own house, chances are you can't get in by climbing down the chimney.
This is the lesson that Mark Vaughn of Fort Worth, Texas learned the hard way. According to Reuters, Vaughn found himself stuck in his own chimney, waiting while firefighters dismantled it brick by brick to free him.
What possessed him to try the Santa Claus style entry? He was inspired by a movie. Says Vaughn, "I was watching the Dick Van Dyke movie a few weeks ago, you know the chimney sweeper movie." He was, of course, referring to the 1964 classic "Mary Poppins".
