"Don't leave out pet food at night, and, you know, don't leave your pets out at night either."

-- Ken Ferebee, park ranger with the National Park Service, offering advice to suburban Washington DC residents on how to deal with the wild coyotes recently seen in the area.

Were they wild coyotes or errant politicians?

You deal with coyotes the same as any other animal. Clockwise, starting with the person on the dealer's immediate left.

Reminds me of the old joke:
What do you do with an elephant with three balls?

Walk him and pitch to the rhino.

I live in a small town in rural Ohio, and a coyote recently showed up on the shipping dock of a local factory.  Coyotes in Ohio!  Does this portend wolves coming down from the north next winter?
