Researcher Elizabeth Loftus, a psychologist at the University of California-Irvine, asked subjects if they recalled from their childhood a time when they met Bugs Bunny at Disneyland, when they hugged him, and maybe even stroked his velvety bunny ears.
According to Reuters, 36% of the respondents recalled such an encounter - an impossible event since Bugs Bunny, being a Warner Bros. property, would never appear at Disneyland.
