Bill of Rights

Bill of Rights restated

State Representative Mitchell Kaye of Georgia wrote the following:

We, the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid any more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to our great-great-great-grandchildren, and ourselves, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt-ridden, deluded, and other mentally weak folk who surround us.

We hold these truths to be self-evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim that they require a Bill of No Rights.

ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but No one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended. This nation is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone - not just you! You may leave the room, change the channel, express a different opinion, etc., But the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be. Accept it.

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful, do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone truly in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us try to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a car, a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII: You don't have the right to demand that our children risk their lives in foreign wars to soothe your aching conscience. We hate oppressive governments and won't lift a finger to stop you from going to fight if you want to. However, we are not required to parent the entire world and do not want to spend so much of our blood and money battling each and every little tyrant with a military uniform and a funny hat.

ARTICLE IX: You don't have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have one, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE X: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to freely pursue happiness - which, by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

"We the sensible, intolerant people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, [usurp certain citizens constitutional rights that we happen to disagree with] restore some semblance of [in]justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe [like the seven years of nothing that the republicans wasted immediately post 9-11?], promote positive behavior [as demonstrated by Rush the Flaccid Junkie Limbaugh, Bill [I am not a liar] O’Reilly, and mAnn Coulter?], and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves [by outspending every Democrat and Republican president combined in the history of the USA?] and our great-great-great-grandchildren [and the inevitable recession we are on the brink of now?], hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal [Republican] bed-wetters.    Like the same Liberals who won WW2 by Unconditional Surrender in less time that it is taking for the Republican Leadership [oxymoron] to attempt to defeat young men in skirts with home made bombs in Iraq? They say Jesus was a Liberal.  Thomas Jefferson was a Liberal.

We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights." [You Timothy McVeigh Right Wing-Nuts like to put yourselves on pedestals, don’t you?  Until normal, real Americans take you to task and knock you back down into reality.]  “Liberal bed-wetters” indicating intolerance for a segment of society.

So when Bill Clinton left a 2 trillion dollar surplus, the right step to “secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren” and idiot neocon Bush pissed it away?  Does that make Bush a Liberal Bed Wetter?  And the author of this B.S. email is probably one of the most intolerant, bigoted, yellow, right wing Timothy McVeigh republican hypocrites you will ever meet!

ARTCLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth.  Whoever said anyone did?  What is your point of reference to make this claim?  More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.

ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended.  [Neither do you!]  This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you [or you]! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, And especially ignore Anti-American B.S. Emails like this, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, like this author, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm.  [And neither do YOU!]  If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.  But you should fear the Executioners Needle if found guilty for acts of domestic terrorism like your hero and political brother, Timothy McVeigh.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found, and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes [and tobacco farmers, and wheat farmers, and corn farmers, and numbers of corporations simply too long to list…] who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.

(This one is my pet peeve...get an education and go to work....don't expect everyone else to take care of you!)

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. [You’re evidently  addressing our Congress?] That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing[like your former slave shacks?], we're just not interested in public health care.  Sorry State Representative Red Neck; you’re outnumbered!

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, [like our “Heroes” in Iraq?] don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens [including honest, hard working Iraqi’s?  Or how the IRS collects taxes?], don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.  Good! So you’ll be sending Bush and Friends to the Hague for War Crimes and Fiscal Malfeasance resulting in a Recession? Where exactly IS all that Iraqi Crude that was going to pay for the war and give us all relief at the pump?

ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want y ou to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful. (AMEN!  Puh-RAYZ th’Lard’n pass the ammunition!!) Like the way Bush appointed unqualified buddies to positions way out of their depth in FIMA, STATE, DEFENSE, NATIONAL SECURITY, ETC?  Or maybe some of Mitchell Kaye’s buddies or son’s or daughters of buddies, eh? I’m sure you never helped anyone that didn’t’ deserve it.

ARTICLE IX:
You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness, which by th e w ay, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of [us in Georgia] you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country. We don't care where you are from, English is our language.  Learn it or go back to wherever you came from!  (Lastly....)  then you better go back to England and learn how to speak English because the Marble Mouth Nonsense that you babble, especially if you’re a stuttering-muttering southern rustic, is not English.  Oh, and by the way, you conceited neocon, there are more Spanish speaking countries on this planet and in this hemisphere than there are English speaking countries.  But before that, this country spoke Cherokee, Apache, Mohawk, Iraqois and many others, you pathetic, pinch-faced honkey.

ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage.  [LOOK WHO’S TALKING!!!] This country was founded on the belief in one true God [Vishnu? Yahweh? Jesus? Isis?]. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE TRUST is part of our heritage and history [B.S.], and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!  No.  It wasn’t.  The founding fathers worded the constitution to be as generic as possible but were specific in stating that the government shall not sanction any one religion, as England had done.  The fact is that an Atheist has as much right as a citizen of the United States that belongs to any faith be it Christian, Muslim,  Judaic or Hindu.  THAT is our True Heritage and if you don’t like it, TOUGH!

If you agree, share this with a friend. No, you don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't. I just think it's about time common sense is allowed to flourish. Sensible people of the United States speak out because if you do not, who will?  Really?  Your brand of “Common Sense” may be construed as unconstitutional labeling you as a domestic enemy.

Well said liberal Patriot.

Eventually the people will wake up to the reality of the Military Industrial Complex, the not so free press, and a bunch of dual citizens running around the president dictating foreign policy.
