ANSWER

It was our 29th president, Warren G. Harding. He was known to be a bit of a womanizer, and was involved in variety of sordid affairs, some of which took place in the cloak room off of the Oval Office. Officially, he died in 1923 of a heart attack, but one rumor has it that he was poisoned by his wife Florence. A few other Harding quotes...

"I don't know much about Americanism, but it's a damn good word with which to carry an election."

"I have no trouble with my enemies. I can take care of my enemies all right. But my damn friends. They're the ones that keep me walking the floor nights."

"I am not fit for this office and never should have been here."

And this quote from First Lady Florence Harding pretty much sums up their relationship...
"Well, Warren Harding, I have got you the presidency. What are you going to do with it?"

WHO GOT IT RIGHT:  Bob Milligan, and Marc Quinlivan.
