If spraying bug spray doesn't work, don't try to kill the bugs with a lighter.
When an unidentified man in Aargau, Switzerland was unsuccessful killing wasps in his apartment with bug spray, he tried to kill them with his lighter. Bug spray is highly flammable. The resulting fire burned down his apartment, causing about $300,000 in damage.
