Last week we reported the case of a teenager who was blinded when a potato launcher unexpectedly fired as he was looking down the barrel. Had it been loaded with an actual potato he likely would have been killed, but for reasons unknown he and his friend had decided to launch frogs from their potato gun instead.
Today comes a story from the AP that two boys were hospitalized after attempting to fire a screwdriver from their potato launcher. One boy got a screwdriver embedded in his chest, narrowly missing his heart, while the other is being treated for shock.
