Maryland to offer 24x7 librarians

If you live in Maryland, you will soon be able to reach a library anytime, night or day, according to AP reports.  Says Maryland AskUsNow! project coordinator Joe Thompson, "What we're really doing is we're breaking down those barriers of time and space that have existed for hundreds of years."

("breaking the barriers of time and space" - and who said librarians are boring.)
