The Keys to the Kingdom

In St. Peter's Basilica in Rome there is, as one might expect, a marble statue of St. Peter. In Peter's left hand he holds the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Apparently they keep the pearly gates locked to keep out the riff-raff. Well, according to Reuters, the statue's left hand, along with the keys it held, has been stolen. I guess they will have to change the locks.
