12 years ago CBS newsanchor Dan Rather gave a car thief a second chance, choosing to talk to him about his choices in life rather than pressing charges. Rather caught up with him recently in Kuwait, where the former car thief is now serving in the US Army as an Apache helicopter pilot. Said Rather on his nightly newscast, "He got his life together and is putting it on the line for his country."
