The AP reports today that New Jersey car dealer Brad Benson has offered to give Saddam Hussein a new car every year for the rest of his life, if he leaves Iraq. Benson, who runs a Mitsubishi and Hyundai dealership, personally recommended the four-wheel drive Mitsubishi Outlander as a good choice for desert terrain.
Benson received a number of complaints when he ran an radio ad campaign making the offer, so he ran a second ad apologizies for the first ad. The second ad also received a number of complaints from others who felt he had nothing to apologize for. He will try his luck with a third ad, apologizing for the second ad. Good luck Brad.
