The Penalty for Accessory to Murder in Germany

Mounir el Motassadeq was convicted in Germany of 3,045 counts of accessory to murder in connection with the 9/11 terrorist attacks. According to Reuters, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison. That works out to only 1.8 days for each person murdered.
