Leonel Arias, of Carrizal de Alajuela, Costa Rica, thought it would be fun to put on an Osama bin Laden mask, grab a fake rifle, and jump out at passing motorists as they passed by on a narrow street, presumably scaring the wits out of them in the process.
Leonel didn't consider the possibility of running across an edgy driver with a real gun. Juan Pablo Sandoval, a taxi driver fearing the worst, promptly shot Leonel twice in the stomach.
