Worst Bank Robber Ever

When Edward Butler Blaine robbed the Union Bank & Trust in Port Royal, Virginia, it was fairly easy to follow his trail, as he dropped several $100 bills on his way out of the bank and to his getaway car, according to reports from the AP.  Unfortunately for him, when he got to his car he found that he had locked the keys inside.  Undeterred, he tried breaking into his own car by smashing the window with a piece of wood.  That's when bystanders began chasing him.  When they caught him, Blaine pulled a gun to fend them off, but only managed to shoot himself in the leg.  Blaine was also shot by one of the pursuing bystanders, who happened to be armed.  He is now being held on eight felony counts, including two for attempted murder.
