No good deed...

The AP reports today the story of Ernest Green, of Clearwater Florida. Green spotted a homeless couple standing out in the rain on Christmas Eve. Taking pity on them, he invited them home with him, to share dinner with his family and have a warm, dry place to sleep.
They repaid this act of kindness by stealing his van, Christmas presents, groceries, and $80 cash. (And the one speck of food that they left in the house was a crumb that was even too small for a mouse.)
