PETA objects to pig racing

Fearing a PETA demonstration, the township of North Brunswick, NJ gave in to PETA and banned pig racing at their Youth Sports Festival.
Wait a minute... Youth Sports? Would that not include Track and Field? So according to PETA, it's okay to race humans for our entertainment, but not pigs?
