In Wales, some recycling-minded drivers have found a way to save money by using used cooking oil from their local fish and chips shops to power their ordinarily diesel-powered cars.
And how does the government react to this ecologically friendly grass-roots initiative? Well, according to Reuters, Welsh police are handing out $800 fines to these drivers for avoiding payment of government fuel taxes.
