According to USA Today, John Pope robbed a bank in Moline, IL, then hired a limousine to take him across the state to Chicago. Unfortunately for John, his limo driver was a retired police officer, who called in when he noticed his passenger was behaving suspiciously. John was arrested at a truckstop before ever reaching Chicago.
