On the more supportive side...

"The world is a safer place with George W. Bush back in the Oval Office."
-- The Sun (UK)

"[Europe] must come to terms, not only with Mr. Bush, but with the nation that has elected him.  This is a president who really can speak for America."
-- The Times (London)

Now, THIS is fair and balanced reporting.

Guest Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 8:27 AM

Has anyone noticed that mr "...you" has a LOT of anger inside.
Yes, we are serious, and, yes, Europe does count!!  Remember, Mr...you, a lot of us came from that continent.  But since you are a Bush-lover, you are probably no smarter than he his.

Guest Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 8:19 PM

Well, Mr ....you is entitled to his opinion.  The problem is, people like him make it difficult for calm, rational, intelligent people to openly support Mr. Bush, if they are so inclined.

And there are, believe it or not, some intelligent people out there who support the president.  Granted most don't agree with him on everything, but they still felt compelled enough to vote for him.

Despite what the UK tabloids have to say, I personally find it hard to believe that over 51% of the population is truly stupid.  (And the actual number is higher than that, because I'm pretty certain there were at least a few stupid people voting for Kerry.)

is that a linux reference?

Guest Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 2:17 AM

Mr ...you,

what europe has ever done for you?

Well, for starters, without europeans, the USA would not even exist in its current form...

Additionally, the royal family in the UK has no real executive power anyway, they are mostly for representing her country outside of the UK,

Calling all germans nazis is like calling all americans KKK-members - not only is it highly insulting, it's just plain FALSE...

However, all of this will probably not keep people like you from spewing their hatred for everything non-US!

and what have the Canadians ever done to you? Probably nothing except for "being alive" and "not being american" (see above)

BTW: Make no mistake, I love the US (i am not american), and I truly appreciate being a welcome guest in this great country, but i really have a problem with aggressive, insulting and ignorant statements like yours.

Dear European. You must be from the U.K. or you wouldn't know
that our Constitution "sprang" from the British "Constitution"
preserving individual rights, and that each State of our Union
adopted, as a part of their existence, the British Common Law.
Curtis has the "number" of these people who would foster hate
against America by claiming to speak for America.(see above.)
Now, this is a HUMOR WEBSITE, so while I cannot speak
Englishish of Canadaish or Austrailiaish, I Can speak Spanishish
when I'm out of the country. Adios, Amigo.
