Formula One race car driver Michael Schumacher beat Maurizio Cheli in a 600 meter (3/8 mile) drag race. Michael was driving his Ferrari F2003-GA Formula One car. Maurizio was "driving" a Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jet.
(Attesting to the jet's top-end speed, Michael lost similar challenges at 900 meters [1/2 mile] and 1200 [3/4 mile] meters.)
