Is it realistic to make a presentation if I'm not a designer?

The presentation should be spectacular and memorable, but I don't know how to create them at all. Where do I get ideas? What rules do I need to follow?

Sometimes visual details are great for creating the right mood. Jagged edges, the effect of torn paper - all this creates the feeling that the presentation is handmade. This technique is probably appropriate everywhere, except in the corporate style.
