solar energy storage

I've heard that solar energy can't be easily stored.I've just come up with the idea of using the extra solar power for creating dynamic energy for later use. Could this be usefull and what are the "bad" things about it?

useful? yes.
"bad" things? that all depends on how you are intending to store the energy.
Also, please don't take this as a slam, it's just an observation - based on the wording of your question, I get a strong sense that you have no idea what you're talking about. I hope you can prove me wrong.
